In-kind donations

Toujours ensemble is grateful for our community support and accepts certain in-kind donations (gifts in the form of goods or services) with gratitude. These donations allow us to pursue certain very specific initiatives linked to our mission

However, the best form of support for TE remains monetary donations..

  • They provide us with greater flexibility to respond to the changing needs of the community.
  • They allow us to purchase materials directly related to the activities offered as part of our programs and services.

How to make an in-kind donation and types of goods accepted

Toujours ensemble reserves the right to refuse in-kind donations and refer you towards another organization in the neighborhood, if necessary. We usually accept the goods listed below.

You must first contact the Toujours ensemble administration department by email : info@toujoursensemble.org or by telephone at 514-761-7867 ext. 320. A person will assess whether your donation can fill a current need.

At all times, you must make an appointment to come and deliver your donation. This ensures
that someone that can accept the donation is present.

Toujours ensemble can produce a receipt for tax purposes only for goods that are new and for which you have an invoice.

 

School supplies – accepted year round

We accept donations of school supplies and new or like-new backpacks only. Please refer to the section above to make a donation.

New, packaged only : lined sheets, squared sheets, construction paper, sheet protectors, separators (5 and 8), felt-tip pens, wooden colored pencils, wax crayons

New, preferably packaged : HB lead pencils, lead pencils and lead refills, pens (red, blue, black, green), permanent markers, highlighters (blue, pink, green, yellow, purple, orange), mark dry erase geometry set, glue stick, white liquid glue, erasers, Canada notebooks (lined and gridded), Louis-Garneau notebooks, spiral notebooks (lined and gridded, 80 to 200 pages)

Like new : soft and rigid pencil cases, school bags (1 to 3 inches), scissors (round, pointed or semi-pointed ends), 15 or 30 cm rulers (soft or rigid, colorless or transparent), pencil sharpeners with tank, calculators (scientific or not), USB keys.

 

Food – only in December during the distribution of food baskets
