Together, let’s make
this season brighter

Starting in November, the Toujours ensemble team rallies the community to help make the Holidays a little more dignified and peaceful for families in need.

Thanks to the support of generous donors, volunteers, sponsors, and partners, two concrete initiatives are taking place this year to support 325 families in need – over 1,000 people – from Verdun–Nun’s Island:

Distribution of complete food baskets to 325 households, each receiving an average of three well-filled baskets with fresh and non-perishable quality food, enough to cover a full week of meals
Delivery of 20 gift cards ($125 each) offered through The Gazette Christmas Fund to families supported by Toujours ensemble

Why your support matters

Food insecurity has reached record levels: more than three million requests for help are made every month to Quebec food banks.

Your contribution has a direct impact here at home, ensuring that local families can enjoy nourishing meals this winter.

How you can help

You can make a difference in three ways:

Financial donation

Every dollar collected helps purchase and distribute food baskets. A tax receipt will be emailed automatically for donations of $20 or more.

In-kind donation

You can donate non-perishable or fresh foods based on our current needs — for example: canned legumes, rice, pasta, cooking oil, fresh fruits and vegetables, or grocery gift cards.
