COVID-19: New programming

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, Toujours ensemble is reorganizing its regular activities in order to maintain support for young people, families and the community.
Following a needs analysis of 300 families, the team developed a new range of activities implemented on April 14: Online programming and La MarmiTe.

Online programming

Ever since the first day of confinement, the team has been eager to reunite with our young people! We all stepped up to the plate and are proud to offer a brand new online programming with content for all ages and interests!

We also thought of you, dear parents, and we will continue to support and inform you! Every Monday, please check out the weekly programming and join us in fun and educational videos, activities and online discussions.

La MarmiTe

The lunch service normally provides hot meals and support to around sixty children from two elementary schools in Verdun. Following the temporary closure of schools, the service has been redesigned in order to continue offering food aid during the crisis to our young people and their families. Our new service called La MarmiTe allows us to reach three times more people during this difficult period.

Monday through Friday, the Toujours ensemble team is now cooking and delivering 200 meals per day, in strict compliance with public health food safety directives. In addition, edutainment material is added to the deliveries, allowing children to continue their learning while having fun. Nurturing body and mind: mission possible!

We extend our thanks to     for supporting this initiative.
