Sac à dos Program
The Sac à dos program is an academic perseverance project for primary school students that was created in response to growing demand. With a focus on intervention, these educational activities contribute to the academic success of these youth. We run extra-curricular activities two days a week, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m., from October to June.
Increase students’ academic performance and/or reduce academic delays
Improve young people’s social skills
Help young people and their parents develop an appreciation for reading
Give parents tools to help their children succeed in school
To meet our goal to contribute to the academic success of our youth, we use a personalized approach that focuses on youth needs as well as a school-family-community approach.
Each student is enrolled in two days of activities per week from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (ranging from academic support, reading workshops, recreational and educational workshops to family activities.)
