For us, summer is anything but slow! We spend this time reconnecting with old friends and making new ones. Our team is always happy to see the young people we’ve helped over the year in a different context that is just as rewarding and exciting. Summer is an ideal time to reinforce the relationships we developed with them during the school year.
Affordable camps and free activities let neighborhood youth fully participate in their community. Parents can also have some time off and relax knowing their children are in good hands.
This camp started in summer 2009 and is for teens who are too young to work but too old for day camp. Trip Ados runs various activities for youth aged 13 to 17. Teens can organize activities, work in a group, develop their sens of generosity, discover new places, and go on plenty of field trips.
Toujours ensemble also lets members and non-members find a place in the community and explore different free activities in Verdun parks. Youth age 8 to 12 can take part on a voluntary basis from Monday to Thursday. Special outings that cost $5 are organized on Fridays, but spots are limited.
Over eight weeks during the summer, youth aged 8 to 12 can register for many activity-filled sessions. We also run two camping trips that last four days each.
