In addition to its youth programs, Toujours ensemble provides support for families in the Verdun/Île-des-Sœurs community. These initiatives include the Christmas campaign, which lets families spend the holidays the way they should be enjoyed.

The generosity of our many donors, sponsors and partners allows us to run the following three initiatives:

  • Distribution of 200 food baskets
  • Sponsorship of 50 families (food baskets and gifts personalized)
  • Distribution of twenty cheques of $125 through The Gazette Christmas Fund

Thanks to this campaign, over 250 families (consisting of over 1000 people) get the chance to experience a happy holiday.

How you can contribute ?

You can participate in different ways:

Please note that we do not take toy or clothing donations. If you want to donate these items, please contact the Réseau Entraide Verdun at 514-762-0705.

Sponsor one or more families

Our sponsorship program is a unique initiative that provides 50 Toujours ensemble families with a food basket made just for them that includes personalized gifts for each child aged 18 and younger.

To become a sponsor, you must commit to the following:

  • Donate money so that the Toujours ensemble team can buy food that suits each family’s preferences. The donation amount depends on the family type (i.e. number of people):
        • Family of 2 or 3 people: $150
        • Family of 4 or 5 people: $200
        • Family of 6 or more people: $250
  • Buy and wrap personalized gifts for each child aged 18 and under.
